Okay... flea market aside, my ah dar was enthusiastically telling me he had plans for our march-in.
THAT's REALLY SURPRISING.
So he told me (in a super enthu tone) that he has decided to use his favourite song as our march in... he even told me which beat we can open the door to march in, and after walking to the stage we can end with a rockstar pose. I was so happy! Finally i do not need to crack my head anymore and make decisions!
Then he sang to me the song he wanted..

he said he used to be a waiter and he always hear this song when he was at the banquet serving dishes.

Back to classes again. Our lecturer for this module is rather lame but of course, it makes the class more interesting and fun. Sometimes we just need some lame jokes to lighten up the mood. Not easy to keep awake from 7-10pm you know hoho~

woke up at 8 plus and had a nice breakfast with Darren at Mac, thinking of going to Comex early to beat the crowd. He wants to get a desktop..
started acting cute cos he's the only guy I know that dislikes yang chen lin. *she's such an angel! nice voice, cutie looks* we came across an i-weekly magazine poster with a cute pose of yang in the following.
I know I look sucky~ but her pose is really like dat lo.
Different people do, really got different effect whahah!
Forced Darren to do it as well. hoho.
Now I know why she's earning big bucks and we are still sitting in front of our comps.
We just dont carry that cute thing off very well.

Went off to the comex, reached at about 10.15am and realized that it starts at 12 noon!!!
GOSH~ we confidently thought it starts at 10 am and didnt even bothered to check the papers for the opening hours.
Waste my time~ shouldnt have woken up so early.
So we waited there *like fools* for them to open. tsk*
Admiring at the models with billboards walking around, discussing about their length of skirts and looking at the brochures available. hee hee
After the comex, we went back to kallang and saw this Waterfest thingy. With nothing much to do, we went to take a look. It's at the indoor stadium till today.
There wasn't many people there, i believe due to the poor advertising of the event. But we did catch some performances and stunts.
The stuntsmen from Down Under were good!
They can fly with their bike like nobody's business.
They even have free banana boat rides, free kayaking try-outs and free water ski try-outs too? Good for the adventurous.
Pity we didnt bring extra clothing..haiyazzz
Met up with virgie and peimin for dinner too~ at ichiban boshi and finished with a desert at Ben & Jerry's.
Okay, I know I am sua ku but this is the first time i ate ben & jerry's icecream after hearing all the raves.
I lurve their mint and choc chunks!!

Judging from the fact that I have never dio any 4D in my life, and the kind of lucky draw prizes I get (the usual bottom few).. I doubt it will happen to me anytime soon.

Another one to go but that is next week and i shall leave all preparations to tomorrow! It feels like going back to school, everybody was kinda nervous although they didnt really talk about it and kept asking each other things like "did you study this? I think will come out leh.. " that sort of thing. But one difference was that the lecturer gave us at least 40% worth of exams tips just to let us pass.

Life Saviours, our lecturers.
After exam, heaved a sigh of relief as this module really requires a lot of memorizing while the next, you can erhem, smoke a little here and there. Was in a really happy mood and decided that I shall go for a mini shopping spree!
Even withdrew 200 bucks and tell myself I MUST spend it ALL. Was so suppressed the last 2 weeks that I havnt even visited far east plaza or bugis for any retail therapy.
The first thing I did was to EAT!
$0.50 icecream!!
where can we get that now.. $0.50 for a glass of kopi oso not enough.

Darren went to the NLB book fair early this morning~ didnt join him cos was rather afraid of the crowd. Went last year and the crowd was woah~
Everyone just want to have a piece of that $2 books and the dusty books made me sneeze and sneeze so decided that I shall give it a miss this round and asked him to help search some books for me.
Hopefully he will have some great buys~ =D

So what did I order.. hmmm..I ordered Vaseline Intensive Care Body lotion.. yeah you cant get that in Singapore. It's supposed to smoothen your skin and evens out your skin tone cos it contains slight amount of AHA in it. So happie. I want to have baby smooth skin!!
keeps face moisturized in air-con room..
Will keep me aways from looking like a dried up prune in my cold cold office.

Lucky for us, our lecturer extended one of our project datelines.
Was one of the first to shoot up my hand in supporting the extension of datelines when everybody was still in BLUR mode, didnt understand wat the lecturer was mumbling about.
So I guess that's how i'm going to spend the rest of the month. But not forgetting that Darren will be back in another 2 weeks time.

The Dangers of Email
Yesterday a colleague of mine sent an email to ask us out for lunch but she accidentally sent to the wrong person. She wanted to send to Brandon but sent to Brenda instead and Brenda is located in one of our subsidiaries in Vietnam!!
Brenda must be really surprised to receive the invitation to eat bak kuk teh in Singapore..

I wanted to send an email to a colleague but it ended up in his boss's inbox.

Darren's encounter for wrong emails was the worst of the lot.
When we were working in a company in TUAS (yeah.. that niao-bu-shen-dan place), he was in the same office as me. He noticed that I was really cold and decided to drop an email to me..
That email ended up further to one of our subsidiaries in AUSTRALIA.
EVERY employee received a copy of that email he sent. (he received countless read receipts)
Including the Managing Director.
