outdated photos...our xmas weekend

that's me and my tummy... it's getting quite obvious. hees Cant wait for my next appt on 7th Jan!

Our yearly must take pic at taka xmas tree. Next year, we will have wawa with us as well.

So how did we spend our xmas eve. It was a rainy day that day but it didnt spoil our plans. Darren brought me to Indochine for dinner. THe food was great especially their Tom Yum Soup. slurpz, and the service was excellent too! One of the waitress noticed that i am pregnant and brought me extra pillows for my back. So sweet right? hee hee. Being pregnant has its perks hur hur hur

The first dish... prawn something something sugarcane. Anyway it's very oishii

We both agreed that the tom yum soup is the best!

Love the ambience and the chandeliers.. I want a mini chandelier too! for my new house!!

We are finally getting our keys soon in january!! After such a long wait, i cant wait to fill up my new house with furniture =p

Oh yah.. and we bought our 40 inch LCD TV over the weekend as well during the megatex by Courts.

Loads of freebies that we couldnt resist.

Oh yay! it's the Xmas season and last weekend we went to Takashimaya for some last minute shopping!

Bought loads of chocs for colleagues and 2 organizers from Kinokuniya. Gifts for female colleagues are easy to get but for guys, really difficult!

We took our regular "must take" photo at the Taka Xmas tree again and we promised each other that next year, we will bring wawa here too! (oh wawa, is the nickname that we gave our little one)

Papa Darren will be giving me a surprise tonite! He said he has made a reservation but he is not telling where.. hmmph. Anyway, I am looking forward!

Went to JB yesterday and got stuck at the 2nd link.

Cannot imagine, we left at 6am and reached customs at 6.30am to find ourselves in a super long queue of singaporeans going to JB for weekend shopping and good food.

By the time we crossed both customs, it was really really late, like 3 hours later.. can faint manzz.

But the great food with cheap prices were worth it! I bought 2 skirts at 15 dollars sgd only!! and the dim sum we ate, is just heavenly and super light on the pocket.

Evening time, we went to a kelong by the beach for slurpy seafood! we can see singapore from there and the food is great too.
We have decided to go in more often, like once in every 2 weeks =p

Okay.. my cravings have not kicked in yet but we just loved searching for good food. Off to Tekka Market for their Nasi Briyani and Carrot Cake ler and some Xmas Shopping!

Had a fun gathering at Shokudo last night with SFC friends.
It was really a long time since we met.

Never been to Shokubo at heeren and I think the food there is not bad, great for big group gatherings.

But feeling abit crampy last night after i went home. Must be all the cold drinks I drank last night. Haizz

Anyway we had wanted to share this piece of good news quite some time back but being abit "pantang", we didn't..=)

We will be expecting a new addition to the family next year!

Yay!

kiyomi is going to be mummy kiyomi soon and EDD (estimated delivery date) is 15th June 2009, maybe a Baby Gemini. heez

havnt been updating this blog on a regular basis as i was super tired most of the time and there's seriously nothing much happening in my life now except for doctor's visits and resting at home.

But i did start a blog for our baby, monitoring our baby's growth and recording every visit to the the Doctor.

The first time we saw our baby, it was really a miracle.. words cannot describe the feeling when the Dr turned on the speakers to let us hear the baby's heartbeat. The heart is already beating furiously away at 6 weeks.

This pic is taken at 9 weeks. Dr Chan's scan is really very clear!

Okay.. that's all for tonite.

FINALLY our Dinner and Dance is over!

It was a great night, everybody really went crazy. Maybe the daily work was so stressful that it's good to let your hair down for a night.

Our theme yesterday was Masquerade with a touch of gold and the dress code was formal. Some came in elaborate gowns, but some came in the strangest costume that doesnt fit the theme at all. ha! Seriously they just came in what they like and what they feel can attract attention. Anyway it was good to have such people around as they are the life of the party!

As for me, i wore a dress that i have for 6-7 years.
It was a tailor made dress that i first wore to a dinner and dance in my 1st company. Okay that was seriously donkey years ago but what made me happy is that I STILL CAN FIT INTO IT! but the bust area was a little tight. erhem It was something i wore when i participarted in an idol contest with my 1st company.

I was really into straight hair then..

seriously looked like SAI

but now.. i'm into curls!!

As i was in the RC committee too. So every year RC committee will have a hotel room to themselves and we hired a makeup artist and a hairstylist.

I love the hairstyle but not really the makeup. It's a bit too thick and it made me look very very vampy. Still prefer Xiao Qi from JWN.

our masks were really elaborate. I bet chloe sitting on my right must have felt her face itch.
