*sorry for the late tagback.. was so so busy with other stuff, sick as well.. anyway i thought i dont really have any deep dark secrets to share. Here goes*

1) i wanted to study Business Studies in NUS, but my grades were quite bad.
2) My nickname was TECKO (bamboo) and CHENG4 JI4 (bullet) in Secondary School.
3) i flooded the kitchen when i first used the washing machine (2 years ago)
4) i have put on 4 kg since Darren came back from Perth.
5) i started my monthly facial when I was 18 years old.
6) i passed my JLPT 1 in 2005 by only 8 marks. *phew*
7) i wake up at about 9am during weekends even if I slept at 3am the night before
8) i look very dao when i dont smile (but i'm friendly at heart de)
9) i think i will make a great wedding planner.(please hire me!)
10) actually....i subscribed to mobtv to watch the last 2 episodes of Mars vs Venus.

My holiday is ending in 8 hours time!
i'm coming back today~
Took alot of photos! it was more of a leisure shopping trip, didnt really rush to and fro cos the weather is pretty hot, makes one very lethargic. We went to Wu lai as well, watched some aborigine dance and was made to dance with them too.
Interesting experience. =D
The weather has been really hot and no rain at all! Although Yahoo weather predicted rain everyday =___=

Ooppzz, forgot to credit JOCO for the nice stamps she made.
I found her site by accident and love all her stuff she made for wedding. I was thinking of contacting her but I hesitated due to my previous experience with Taiwan sellers, it's very difficult for me to communicate with them as they don't really msn in english and I cant type chinese very well. But I was glad that I contacted Joco cause when I told her I'm from Singapore, she msn-ed in english!
so happy! caused she stayed in canada for a period of time. =D

Our taiwan luv luv trip itinerary almost done! This time we will be going to slightly different places as I didnt have time to visit them with my mum last year.
Will be going to Luxy too! highly raved club by podders, hopefully it is as good.

Dinner...
we had our usual magic show after our meeting dinner..

No more fire swallowing.. this time, he brought out the 狗头斩。One of our poor colleagues were sabo-ed to go out and answer 3 of his questions and if he got everything correct, he wont have to go through all that.
But of course we knew the questions will be difficult.
1st Question : What was the ship that sank in 1912?
There's only one ship that sank in 1912 that is significant enough to be remembered, and of course he got it correct
2nd Question : How many people died during that accident?
eh... slightly tougher, it was a multiple choice and one of our group people were really CERTAIN that 1500 plus people perished in the accident and shouted the answer & BINGO! he got it correct
3rd Question : What were the names of these 1500 people?

It's exactly 49 days till I get hitched!
That is what it says on the countdown ticker.
Bought these stuff for my scapbook!
with Zoie, she's one big lover of scrapbooks and actually i do love craft work too but i was pretty lazy in the past.

It was supposed to be a personal album for my vainpot pictures taken by a friend who is a photography enthusiast, but i never got down to it since 2004. I think I never will. Now, I have loads of paper to play around for my wedding guestbook. Get more drive doing things that we share and not only for myself. In lurve with scrapbooking now! Very difficult but very very fun. ^_^
Went for a manicure yesterday and i lurve it. cheap, good classy french manicure at Bugis Village 2nd level for only 20 bucks.
Met up with Cheryl and Huiling and their hubbies for dinner at Riccotti, an italian cafe. The food was good! Really! I havnt eaten such nice (& affordable) aglio olio for ages. Me and Darren had Aglio Olio, spaggetti with olive oil and Hazelnut gelato for dessert. slurpz. 5 thumbsup for them and i will be visiting them soon.

The whole group of us went to volans couture to help huiling choose some gowns. Their gowns are pweety pweety too.
Agree with lala that I am really spending all of my spare time preparing for our wedding, even Darren too who is solely in charge of the planning for Taiwan this time (VERY VERY RARE), and we will be doing the scrap book together as well. Guess it's fun spending time doing something different. We went shopping for bedsheets too~
Our new bedsheets.. very mushy i know.. =p
Going to bring some "props" over for phototaking.. like balloons? hmmm.. our ring chest? hmmm... and silk flower petals?... what else, what else? feathers? no... looks kinda KINKY..
NOW, i am starting to look forward =)
Tomorrow's is Cheryl's turn for gown fitting.

Review
This colour shampoo and serum is great =)
Enhances my newly highlighted hair and the serum made my hair very straight, smooth and shiny! and not greasy at all. Most important, it doesn't burn a hole in my pocket
Never leave home without my HG serum.. hee hee

Our ROM card design is done.
With the kind help of Gerald who contributed the lovely cute cartoon characters =)
Wanted to send for printing using a contact Lyana gave but we decided to print ourselves since there's only 45 pieces to print.
Bought glossy paper at Art Friend to test print at home.
My printer has done me justice. ha! The colours were pretty decent and it's really cheap to print at home =D
It's a simple card..did the layout and design myself and it's nothing fantastic nah..Can print 2 in 1 piece hee hee. still got map horkay... mai siao siao. and i lurve the fonts!

Everyday is a busy busy day
Weekends are the busiest days of all. hmmm what was I busy with?
Decorating that plate like centerpiece. Worked till 1am on Friday night and finished 80% of it. Still cant decide whether I want to place floating candles inside the glass plate or should i just put my ring chest into that and decor with feathers....
Thanks all for the encouragement. I don't feel so panicky now and I have decided to outsource part of the decor to a freelance florist. Will outsource the aisle decor and 5 solemnization chairback decor as they are super difficult to do and i seriously don't want my friends to be stress out just because i'm getting married =)
Only have 1 brain and 2 hands, with this limited time, i guess i will only come up with decors for my solemnization table and reception table. Guess they will make good keepsakes too. =D

Weekend~
We bought.... a bed! to share our dreams =)
It was no impulse buy. We will repaint my room and get a bigger bed so darren wont have to sleep in another room which he does now, if he stays overnight. But delivery will not be soon cos we havnt repainted my room yet. It's gonna be a blue & white greek theme. hiak hiak hiak.
We went for a crazy shopping spree. He bought 3 tee shirts from Far East, and I bought 1 top and a vest from there as well. Me no Jolin wannabe but lurve the vest so much that i bought the brown one. Think it makes me look quite corporate when worn with shirts =p Keke ppm has the same one ha! In black!
We watched Spidey. I lurve Harry more than Spidey. Enuff said.

Okay Sundayzz..
Coloured and highlighted my hair to prepare for photoshoot at the end of this month. Got this strong feeling it's gonna rain. It's supposedly the rainy season now in taipei and I know that, but we still went ahead with our date, cos June is TOO HOT for me.. I cant stand the heat and I prefer to be in the rain than sun.
Guess it all depends on my luck now.
If it rains, we will just pose in the rain.. haiz

Tomorrow meeting Zoie for some scrapbook supplies, she makes really really nice scrapbooks, i was really amazed by her creativity. Really nice! she has a discount card too and even offered to help me in my guestbook design and lettering.
So touched nor.. everybody helping me..even Jullie, who is not a very close friend offered to help me do wrist corsages after her wedding. Her wrist corsage rockzz manzz..I hope she teaches me how to do

We are Crab Lovers
Had a fun time eating crab on Thursday... it was yummiz and we were surprised when the bill came.
It was cheap! OKAY cheaper than what we had in the kopitiam and we ordered more than what we ordered previously.

Back to my decorations... I can't seem to find floating candles (nice round ones...) anybody see, please please let me know. The floating candles I see in Ikea are flowery shapes, i need plain ones.
Actually, i'm not really optimistic about doing the decor myself.... the decor may turn out to be a disaster. haizz *wails*
Guess i have no choice at all. Being a super budget bride, i cant afford to spend more money on decorations already. The rental of that venue alone, without the buffet has cost us 500 bucks liao!! cannot afford to spend another 400 to decorate the place with flowers.
weddings are indeed a lucrative business..

Bought a mini glue gun and some lace over the weekend, it’s time to start on my centerpiece creation. Will be coming up with the decorations myself and of course help from a few good friends to set up. =D
Met up with Xinderella and Evonne yesterday, brought Xin to the actual venue and she gave me a lot of suggestions on how I can decorate the place. Really a great help! So relieved to have them help me set up the place so that on my big day, I can just sit back and enjoy every moment of it.
Thanks galz!! Must thank Darren's friend for agreeing to be the MC too.. hee hee
Have more or less decided what I am going to do, going to use pearls, feathers, petals and lace and a wee bit of creativity to decorate the centerpiece. Silk flowers and tulle or organza will be for the stairways leading to the auditorium.
I’m excited!!
Something more exciting later…we are going to have a crabby night with liren and josephine.
They are BIG FANS of crabs as well.
