It's my birthday today!!
didnt receive much gifts but alot of vouchers! yeah from merchants that want to be reminded that they are still around...Those vouchers just practically screams out "COME SPEND YOUR
but i think what my remisier sent me was quite innovative and cute

It's actually a metal ball that can rotate (yeah there's a heart shape there cos the metal ball has my reflection) with alot of words below. Words like "BUY", "SELL", "STAY" and even "ASK MOM"

Too tired to blog about other stuff, had a great "crabby" dinner tonite and tomorrow will be my long awaited facial with my colleague.

It was a lovely sunday today... and the weather was perfect!
and it's also Astor and Steph's big day too!
Thanks for inviting me. It was really a lovely outdoor wedding and my 1st one as well. And I love Steph's dress! Really princessy with lace and frills.
Congrats to the both of them again!
And i finally wore my catworld dress. Quality is great.. more shopping soon =)

I have decided not to post a picture of our new car as there had been an inquisitive neighbour who has been reading or maybe "spying" on my blog.
he claimed that he knows all the blogs that the young people in our block have. Even the blog of an air stewardess who's staying a few floors below me.
and the couple even have the cheek to go and sort of "complain" to my mum about my wedding photos???
say i look FUGLY in them?
mum was really angry.
cannot imagine got this kind of people in the world.
if you like, you read, don't like what you see.. VERY UGLY, then don't see lo.
SIMPLE COMMON SENSE. Use KarCHNG to think oso will know.
There's absolutely no need to make such comments to my family.

Just finished my 45 mins driving session with my dad.
Driving was a breeze but Parking WAS NOT!!
dad was a little gan chiong and kept saying "SLOWER SLOWER!" but i look at the meter...
50km/hr nia.

Maybe he oso very stress that i will damage his car.
Now I TOTALLY understand WHY my driving instructor was so fierce or intolerant towards me in the past.

"你是猪ar！！！“
with furrowed brows and a super unfriendly face.
Trust me, he said all these plus alot of very very very nasty words that after each lesson i will go home and cry but at the same time thinking to myself.
"yeah, my life is all about other people chauffeuring me around. Why? you jealous ar? HNG!"
But now i think he is right!! i am so dense! arggghh angry with myself. parking oso dont noe.. it's really frustrating. Anyway, with my determination and "passion" for driving (it's more of a 面子 issue), i think i will get it right... sooner or LATER. =p
Till then, pls make sure you don't park beside me.

After much searching, i finally found that driving license!! with alot of dust on it.

Anyway, going to Kah Motors later to make payment! yay! Finally, we will be able to get our car next week. But it's been almost 8 years since I last drove and everybody including Darren is afraid of my parking skills.

Life is indeed boring without Darren around...miss his hugs, miss his ji xiao-ing
and his absence made me wanna shop and spree MORE =__=
the progress of my new blogshop is REALLI slow, the other day i got my sis to come and "model" for me and i took some pics of her and now, i only managed to edit the 3rd picture. *faints*
She's a good model but too bad, i have to cover her face at her request...
Blogshops dont earn easy money especially those on livejournal with alot of editing, photoshop, collages of dresses.
*faints* & *wake up* & *faints again* I can now understand why they are always late in publishing new collections.

He had 2 days off last week (thursday and fri) as it was US's independence day. *why singapore oni have 1 day??*

Straits Times published 3 pages of ways to tighten your belt and fight the inflation.
Well... kiyomi and hubby will now share what has changed in their lives and some tips to curb the crazy inflation..
1) I think it's been quite some time since I shop at places like Far East Plaza or other shopping malls.
I SHOP ONLINE!
Okay you might want to say "want to save money, don't shop lah.." but hey, it's quite difficult to curb those temptations. ha! Similar clothes that are found in Taiwan Auctions are sold double the price in Far East or Bugis Village. But of course, this is provided that YOU CAN WAIT. Some taiwan sellers take freaking long to restock, sometimes they mix up the orders too.
And so everyone says... "Patience is a virtue" but kiyomi's shopping motto also says "Patience can save more monies". I try to organize my own sprees if not just join one of those on livejournal! Best sprees there.
and now, i'm trying to launch my blogshop.. I just hope it will be ready by 30th July, my bday!
2) We try to eat at home as often as possible.
Sometimes 5 days in a week, we will have dinner at home, either at his house or my house. That saved us alot of monies plus it encourages us to spend more time with them too *winks* (and of course we wont forget about monthly allowances lah, they are our parents afterall)
3) We use our credit card points to redeem...
movie tickets and restaurant vouchers!!
We have loads of points as we used the credit card for our wedding banquet, honeymoon and some other stuff we bought in preparation for our wedding in Jan. So.... now it's payback time! YAY!
and we can have our movie weekends and nice restaurant dinner without a hole in pocket.
4) No hair treatments or facials since my wedding in Jan.
I just do DIY facials at HOME.

This is really good, you can get it at drugstore.com. It's supposed to draw out impurities and tighten your pores plus the minty feeling...
AHhhhhhhh.. heavenly and this feeling doesnt come at a hefty price tag. $7 nia..
Face dry..?? USE THIS
DIY-ed my hair treatments too... with Pantene Clinicare! the treatment that Da S used and was highly recommended in the Taiwan variety show. Was introduced to this treatment by Josephine when she asked me to get her 1 box when i went over to Japan on Honeymoon. Tempted, i bought one from a spree when i was back.
It was really GOODDDDD...
6)Less DVD rentals
We used to rent and finish HK drama serials in about 2 weeks time and we will rent another serial after that. But since 1 month ago, we cut down on the rentals.. But not just because we want to cut cost, the dvd rental shop was just... well... too far hahah. Anyway, there are loads of things to watch on youtube and i just watched part of the series of 星光3班 and the best part, it's FREEEE!
Great singers, interesting competition..
makes me so wanna sing karaoke =p

today is 1st July.
Alot of things seem to happen on 1st July.
And that includes the GST Credit. yay~ more monies in bank account, but i dont think that measly sum is enough to cover for the crazy inflation so please dont ask for more chocolates, *you know who*
and of course not to forget today is also the day that we vowed to say 'I Do'!
