Bought my Olympus C770!
This is the BUY of the year! Or maybe, I do have many BUYS of the year. Really like this camera alot! Although people might see it as not so "compact" and slim, I still feel that functions overule looks! It has 10x zoom and can have manual control of aperture, shutter speed also(It's not as if I know how, but things can always be learnt) . Think can start from here. Bought a USB flash drive from D too. And it's really cheap! 39 bucks for a 128mb flash drive. Of course, please do not expect it have famous brand names printed on it..
It's really crowded at the Comex. I just buy my stuff and got out from there. Actually a lot of people are looking around and yesterday I was also one of them.. hee hee. Think next week I should go somewhere and experience this camera. Who wants to be my model?

Comex 2004
Just came back from Comex and I've aimed my new camera. Hoho! going to get that tomorrow plus some other stuff. Today was just a look, see & go kinda thing. Will buy that Olympus C770 tommorrow. This is not a sudden urge of wanting to get that camera. Was very frustrated yesterday at the Family Dinner for my company. My old digital camera just couldnt work at that RIGHT moment you know. There are few adjustment modes, think the focusing is also spoilt. hee.. and most of the pictures are just plain dark. Really tired of this camera already. I bought it more than 2 years ago I think. The speed of technology is really amazing. I clearly remembered that I bought this at 550 bucks and it is only a 2.0 mega pixel camera.. Now, I can get a much better one at about 600 plus.. but of course. My olympus will cost me about 899 bucks. hee
I finally saw the light about aperture and shutter speed. haha. Really interested to take up some photography. Maybe start with simple ones first and see how I progress from them. Hope to develop a new hobby from there.. :)

FINALLY my face is getting better
After enduring for two frustrating weeks, at last I found that my pimples are diminishing soon... :) so happy. later will go shopping but it seems like it's going to rain soon.. sian.
Will have a few items to buy... hope I have a fruitful trip!

First time..
Yeah.. achieved my first time today. hee hee applying eye liner haha. Dont think that applying eye liner is easy stuff as you need a steady hand, sharp eyes and patience to do that if the applying goes wrong hee hee.. I never applied eye liner before so I had a kinda "good" feeling after i finished. Made my eyes a little bigger and not too drama oso.. hahha (siao ar you may think, but little things count to the whole image)

Weekend really Fliesss
It's a saturday night and there is simply nothing on the television. Went to Bugis today and spent some time at Shu uemura counter.. I realised that my makeup is so limited. 1 blusher, 1 concealer, and no eye shadows at all.. hee Is that my excuse to buy more makeup? sort of.. SO... I just took the opportunity of their promotion and got myself NECESSARY makeup hahah.
Got 2 eye shadows and a peach blusher.. and requested the sales assistant to demo the colours on me. Now, I roughly know the right way to apply eye shadow lo.. and I got their eyebrow trimming voucher for FREE too! haha
Was suppose to go down to orchard to check some boutique out to search for a dress for Friday. but was so tired (think I am lazy) that I went home to catch 40 winks... Hee... So tomorrow will have to go down. Hope I can find something..

Still not better
Fiery pimples not subsided yet and work is getting a little busy. Got many things on hand to settle... Dont mind working OT though as my boyfriend isnt around anyway,but I try to get home earlier as I want to chat! surf net! hahah
This is my collage. Posted it on my SFC profile too. This friend of mine got a new camera.. when are we going to take pictures again? Think will be quite sometime, and definitely not now! It's actually quite tiring to go round taking pictures.. done that twice and I know best man! First time round was like sun burnt! 2nd time round wasnt so bad as that day was a glommy raining day... which is when he took this pic for me.
Next Friday, my new company will have "Family Day". Family Day sounds like a beach event, doesnt it? or at least a outdoor event. But we are going to the Regent Hotel.. OMG.. what am I going to wear!?! I dont want to look too exaggerating and I really dont know what the other people are wearing? Shucks... should I borrow clothes from my sista? will she lend me? Anyway, her clothes are tight, bare back or bare navel.. hahah My boss will faint maybe haha.
Maybe recycle my D & D dress.. I think I should.. but a bit exaggerating I think.. will ask around first.. :)

NO more pictures to post!?!
Havnt been posting pictures at this blog recently, simply ran out of pictures to post! what shall I do! Think by tonite should have at least a photo collage of me up. Going to work on that later. It's getting real plain, just like my life now.. Hmm.. Having a terrible and horrible breakout on my face. HATE that 2 fiery pimples on my chin! okie.. i know, it's that time of the month again which I hate when my face is in very bad shape..

Saw the fireworks from my house today
The fireworks today was nice! I think it's better than the ones on NDP. Got more colours, patterns and some were really like the ones I saw in Japan. Didnt go anywhere today. Was lazing the whole day thinking about work tomorrow. Havnt been to work for 2 days because of the seminar, think there should be tons of things for me tomorrow.

Perform a one minute improvement task daily
This is one of the main conclusion I get from T.H. after attending his course at SIM for these past few days. His course is good, very informative and most importantly, he spurred me to do the above statement. It can be anything, like calling a friend, reading a good article. Anything that could help in your personal development. What I have decided to do was to read the commentary page in the Straits Times daily. I used to read the newspapers daily when I was in JC because of the General Paper subject. But recently, I was more on the net rather than reading stuff. Guess he is write. A person who can write and speak well will get them a job anywhere. His course made me realised that without a wide vocabulary, you cant write and speak well. And this made me recalled that a few days ago, when I was translating my boss's speech from Japanese to English, I had diffculties as my vocubulary is limited.
So.. main goal for the rest of the year is to improve my vocabulary and my writing and presentation skills... and oh.. I just bookmarked the Business Times for my daily one minute read.. :)

That's my one
Am NOT going to post this in SFC. I know this is blur. It is blur. no scenery in the background just plain old fireworks... a little boring I know..I dont want to invite another round of saliva war.He wants to be the HIGHEST QUALITY photographer.. so be it. Although I am no good in photography, I know better ones out there though. Taken from my living room. You can imagine how close I am from the stadium.. can hear them sing This is Home... Truly...

This is home, truely..
I can feel the ambience here in my living room in Kallang now. I can hear the crowd roaring and singing away.. (I am sure it's not my neighbour's tv). Felt very "zhen han". yeah that's the word to describe. Saw the fireworks right in my living room. Rushed to get my lousy canon digital camera out. Of all the pictures I took, I managed to catch only 2 full fireworks as after that all the smoke from the previous fireworks make it not so nice and complete. I'm really getting interested in photography... :)
This picture was taken yesterday at the fireworks festival. There was a crowd also.. Actually, I'm really glad that I'm living in Singapore where everything has been provided for us and it's such a safe country. Although it's kinda small and shopping isnt so good compared to Japan or Hongkong. Think I wont want to consider migrating to any where in the world.. This is HOME!!

Will be going to the Fireworks Fest at Marina Bay later in the evening. I will be expecting to see crowds of people over there. As... 5566 will be performing there. In fact, I saw people going there in the morning when I was leaving for my gym. Not going to sqeeze with the youngsters to catch a glimspe of them though.. I'm old. But definitely bringing my camera there!

No more concerts
Morning sis sms to say that she got complimentary tickets to Pan wei bo's concert. Now no more lo... anyway, it's not as if I want to go and hear him sing. It's just that I havnt been to a concert for quite some time. I would prefer to go to the one which has FIR in it. I cant remember the actual name of the concert but I remembered that it features many artistes..
My contact list at Muliply isnt Muliplying... I wonder why.. Friends are not friends anymore or they just didnt check their friendster OR they just totally ignore me.. hahah.. Think it will take a while before everybody start to know and use that. When one gets one invitation from one friend, normally it's a "wait n see" attitude. When one gets a LOT of invitations from many friends, normally they will follow the crowd to sign up. I'm waiting for that day man.. Think this is even better than Friendster which gets so slow nowadays too.
Still prefer to post my thoughts here rather at Muliply. Alot of people you know or you dont can see your post and.. they get notified that you post something new.. Nah.. I dont want to "notify" people of my postings, it's nothing interesting anyway.. hee Upload this picture just to make this page a little colourful hee..

Was so busy uploading my pictures to this site that I didnt post any blog entry here but over there instead.
Of course I wont abandon this site. This will still be my main site for posts but pictures wise, guess multiply.com has a very good photo storage.
They did not inform whether there will be any limit to the number or size of the pictures we upload.Maybe they will once there are too many members.
Right now, think multiply is still trying to get people to switch from friendster.
Half of the week is gone. Will have to do a presentation on Friday to my boss and some other Japanese. A little nervous, hope I dont say anything wrong. Anyway, I have another day to prepare. Getting busier at my job but still like it anyway. It's much better than the previous one.. really. :)
No pictures to post. Most of it is at my multiply site.After browsing at my computer, I realized that I have very few pictures of me and my friends. Or me and my boyfriend.
My previous hard disk crashed and the data was lost.Cant even transfer the datas to a new hard disk because it cant be detected! Was so sad at that time! All my collections of pictures with boyfriend to Australia, HK was gone. Got reminded again yesterday when I wanted to post pictures at Multiply. Sigh...Now, I am clever enough to backup my computer already. Cant afford to lose those nice pictures they took for me again. :P

Looking forward to National Day
Really looking forward to next week and the long weekend. You seldom see me so patriotic Think everybody does.. hee. Wont be around in the office much next week as there will be a seminar that I will have to attend for 2 days! yeah!
Bought the limited edition National Day shirts that are on sale at Raffles City. They are designed by various local deseigners. The one I bought is by I.S.They have an outlet at Heeren too. It doesnt look like red white traditional kind of clothes. Instead, it has a star cut out at the side. Really liked it.!
A friend invited me to join Multiply.It is something like Friendster but MORE than that! Most important feature to me is that you can post quite a few pictures in albums online to share with friends. GOOD storage space isnt it!?! I've actually sent invitations to all my friends in my friendster group. They actually allow you to do that :). Pictures, pictures and more pictures. I just love the free storage space. And.. it lets you have a blog too.. heee I have enough of blogs.. hee
